EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST EXTENDED TO 31 JULY 2025.
Due to a successful grant application from Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries and Healthway’s Healthy Partnership Program Sailability WA has funding available to offer a Volunteer Training Program to run from July to December 2025.
We are pleased to be able to offer the opportunity for our valued Volunteers to upskill across a range of courses including the following:
- First Aid Training including CPR
- Mental Health First Aid Training
- Recreational Skipper’s Ticket
- Safety Boat Operator Skills
- Dinghy Instructor Course
- Adult Learn to Sail
- Radio Operations Etiquette

Expressions of Interest have been extended to 10 August 2025. The majority of courses will be scheduled to be completed prior to the opening of the 2025/2026 Summer Sailing Season. Note, Volunteers must be registered with Sailability WA. Not yet a registered Volunteer – don’t worry – you can register today.
