Course Description: Introduction to Hansa 303 Sailing

Dive into the world of Hansa sailing with our introductory course, perfect for beginners who want to experience the joy of sailing in a supportive and inclusive setting. This course is designed to help participants learn the basics of sailing while enjoying a safe and fun time on the water.

Boats Available:

• Hansa 303 Dinghies: Sail with your support person, or sail solo! Participants should feel comfortable being on the water as they sail with their support person, guided by experienced instructors and Sailiability WA Volunteers

Course Overview:

• Learn fundamental sailing skills tailored to Hansa boats.
• Familiarize yourself with sailing terminology, equipment, and boat handling techniques.
• Practice essential skills such as launching and returning to shore, tacking and gybing
